All learning at Chaucer School is important, but to be recognised with AQA qualifications can be the icing on the cake. Over the last academic year, 141 students completed either Bike Maintenance, Horticulture, Furniture Restoration, or Tiling and Bricklaying sessions with Mr Wriggleworth as part of internal alternative provision sessions over 8 weeks.
Those students between them racked up a very very impressive 1954 AQA Certificates that recognise the skills needed in these areas. These additional qualifications will support the students in the college and sixth for applications in the future, but also are an important celebration of the achievements in these practical sessions. We're incredibly proud of the students, and of Mr Wrigglesworth for his patience and expertise in these small group sessions. Congratulations to all.
