  • Friday 22nd December 2023 Non-uniform

    Friday 22nd December 2023 will be a Non-uniform - Sportswear day for students. Students can wear PE kit or any other school appropriate non-uniform sportswear. We are suggesting a non-uniform donation of £1 which will be donated to our student council to plan activities in school.   • 18th December 2023. Christmas hat, jumper or tie day!

    Monday 18th December 2023 will be our Christmas hat, jumper and tie day! Christmas hats, jumpers and ties are acceptable on Monday along with regular uniform. All other uniform must be in place (unless replacing a Chaucer tie with a Christmas tie. A tie must be worn.)
    We will also have our Christmas Elf giving out spot prizes to students for our favourite jumpers, ties and headgear throughout the day.

  • Last Day arrangements

    Chaucer School will close at 12.20pm on Friday 22nd December 2023 for the Christmas Holidays. If your child is on FSMs grab bags are available and must be ordered by 12.30pm on Thursday 21st December 2023. These will be ready to collect at the end of school on Friday from the snack bar.

  • Train to Teach with TSAT SCITT

    We are delighted to have launched, in partnership with Teach First, the TSAT School Centered Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) programme. 

    Our one-year programme involves a powerful mix of self-directed, live training and one-to-one support, with trainees gaining Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) upon completion. 

    We hope that the programme will inspire the next generation of teachers for both TSAT and the wider sector.
