The Governing Body

The school has managed its own finances since 1989 handling a current budget of over 4.5 million pounds. The school Governors play a key and active part in all aspects of the school, with representation from parents, industry and commerce, the local community and schools.

The Governors discharge their responsibilities through two committees which cover all elements of the schools’ operation; Support Service and Student Acheivement.

Parents are kept informed of the Governors’ work and activities through the parent representatives, and the fortnightly newsletter from the school. The names of the Parent Governors are published to parents early in the school year.
